L.E.G.E.N.D.S

Eagle-Flying-SunsetThey say all men are born equal
And death is a fate that all share
Yet some are celebrated more than others
When they exit this oh so glorious earth

All men are born equal
Yet in death, a division is made
For thousands each day are dying
Yet few though dead, do not see death

They say legends never die, of course they don’t
For while their bodies lay dead
Legacies live on in their stead
A testament to the impact they made

Our legends are now nothing more than legends
Nothing more than heroes of times past
For every other day a legend dies
With almost no one to take their place

See all men are born heroes
But only a few, take to the skies
For not all men have discovered
The greatness they have inside

The legends we know are dying
Yes their time has come and gone
Now it’s left for you and I
To be the Legends of days to come…
